I spent my 2 nights at Leonard de Vinci Hotel and this hotel was just like home for me. My wallet was stolen and afterwards, I brought the hotel room key with me to the airport and they were still calm and kind and most importantly good-humoured. The hotel was simple but I loved that simpleness. Apart from the other fancy hotels, It was alive and shiny with its crew! Thank you...
The weekend price! I'm travelling so would usually stay in hostels rather than a business hotel. The special price available at the weekend was not much more than a hostel at this time of year and made a welcome change to have an en suite room of my own. There was even a hot plate which I didn't use but would be useful if I were staying for a week on business. A good business hotel. I would stay here if on a business trip to La Defense
Perhaps a microwave oven would give guests more options than heating soup or odering take away. The only downside was the problem with the WiFi. The signal in my initial room just wasn't strong enough to establish a connection. There was a very helpful hotline and signal amplifiers were available at reception in anticipation of this problem. The first 3 I tried were broken but the 4th did work once I'd moved to a different room. Lack of perfect WiFi is the only reason I deduct points from this hotel as internet access is essential. That said, they dealt with the problem perfectly, though they should replace those broken units in case more than 1 guest has the same problem in future.
The location of the hotel is perfect - you start sightseeing just as you leave the hotel, nevertheless it is situated in a calm quarter. We were satisfyed with comfortable bed, quiteness at night with window open, staff available all day long.
Oven was not working in my room and the staff had no reaction to my complain. The smell was not good in room, we had to leave the window open. I should not complain a lot as the price was rather low.
Fabulous! My room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was nice to have. Just a short walk from La Defense RER and the metro. Amazing shopping center complex just around the corner. Through Booked.net I spent only 44 Euros a night for a single suite. It's only a 10 minute train ride to Chatalet Les Halles. For the same money in Paris center I got a room that looked more like a jail cell. The reviews of this property suggesting that it is not well maintained are unfair. I think they must be from spoiled business expense account travelers. There are a few scratches and dings in the rooms, but it was an amazing room for the price. I'll never stay in old Paris again. I'll stay at De Vinci and hop on the train.
Perhaps because they are an apartment hotel, they don't have a good system for wake up calls and the night attendant never looked at the book. Thank goodness I woke up on my own. I almost missed my early morning train to Brussels.
Hospitality and guidance of staff are good
One very appreciation is i have left some valuable my mistake outside.During house keeping it was kept in order. Good people on duty.
The hotel was situated near a major tube station which made it easy to get straight into the centre of Paris.
The cleaners come early in the morning and if your still in bed they dont come back to change your towels or empty your bin all week! Though im guessing if we had asked it wouldnt of been a problem.
I have slept at your other locations..But this particular location is very good and affordable...
Is just the aspect of the staffs..they will need more training...as regards english language for guest who doesnt speak french.....
Poor or total lack of customer oriented service Room cleaning is on request basis and only after repeated requests
A little bitt off the center of Paris, but it is still considered Paris zone if you reach it with Metro Line 1 (not with the rer).
proximity of the CNIT (centre de conférences de la Défense) room with little kitchen
the organisation of the reception (only one person is competent)
The location and the price. Very good value for money and godd facilities
The rooma little bit to small and the Wi-fi not was a so good
poor breakfast, fixed TV
I stayed for just under two weeks. Positives Location Price Room space Staff
Negatives No ac Street can be loud Cooking can make the hallway smell
I’ve stayed for 5 nights. This Hotel is very near from La Defense Metro (Line 1) and rer station (-+8 minutes walking). Don’t expect luxury, but for the price it’s difficult to get more. The room I’ve got was like the one in the photos. The bathroom is small but it fits for purpose. The Hotel has free Internet access and has everything you need to live and cook (even coffee machine). Definitely recommended not just for lower budgets travellers.
We stayed for 3 nights and the hotel is really value for money.Having a microwave and mini fridge is great as we can make simple meals using the basic utensils. It would be even better if the hotel can provide a small kettle too.TQ for the safe in the room although it was not mentioned in the booking. The location is wonderful with lots of shops, restaurants and supermarkets.Metro and train station is nearby, 15 mins walk, accessible to everywhere. There are escalators along the way to avoid carrying our bags up and down the stairs, but beware, it is not functioning on Sat/Sun.
The is no air-condition, only heater. Although in the month of June, it was cool at night, so we had no problems with the heat at all. There should be more directions to lead the guests to the hotel as we were lost looking for the hotel but luckily some nice people led us to the right direction.I would definately stay in the hotel again. A signboard on the main street after/before the escalators to point to the hotel would be helpful.
